Dr James is a Pain Medicine Physician who graduated medicine with Honours from the University of Western Australia. Nathan has broad experience working in public and private hospitals in Western Australia and in the UK. Nathan is a dual trained Specialist, who’s passion for the speciality of Pain Management emerged through his work as a physiotherapist, junior doctor and Specialist Anaesthetist.

Nathan has a particular interest in:

• Interventional pain proceduresComplex acute and chronic pain
• Pain limiting activity in the older population
• Interventions for cancer pain management
• Post surgical and perioperative pain management

As a former physiotherapist Nathan has a significant understanding of the value of the multidisciplinary team approach, which is embraced at PainScience.
Nathan consults at PainScience in Joondalup, and operates at Glengarry Private Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus.
